Evaluation

Effective evaluation is an opportunity for programs to systematically evaluate their efforts and impacts. We work with organizations to understand their goals for the future of their program, and then take a mixed-methods approach, integrating quantitative and qualitative data, to assess impact and identify opportunities for program improvement. We also support statewide and local programs in meeting funders’ evaluation requirements, including those set by CDC.

Using Evaluation as a Tool for Program Improvement in the Rural West

Since 2022, we have partnered with the Wyoming Cancer Program to design evaluations that go beyond compliance, turning data into actionable insights that improve program operations and reach. By combining program staff expertise with rigorous evaluation methods, our work has guided decision-making, informed resource allocation, and strengthened cancer screening efforts statewide.

Planning Evaluations that Programs Can Use

We work with programs to design evaluations that are more than just a compliance exercise. By combining staff expertise with rigorous, tailored evaluation design, we help programs turn evaluation into a strategic tool to improve operations, guide decisions, and share results with stakeholders.

Taking a Mixed Methods Approach to Understanding Immunization Access

We partnered with the Wyoming Immunization Unit to conduct a program evaluation that combined quantitative and qualitative data to assess program effectiveness, vaccination trends, and operational challenges. By analyzing multiple datasets and collecting provider insights, we delivered actionable recommendations to improve immunization access and support across Wyoming.
